Little girls are made of daisies and butterflies and soft kitty cat purrs
And all the precious memories of times that once were.

And all the happy feelings, deep inside, that we all know.
Little girls are made of cinnamon and bubbles and fancy white pearls
And snowflakes and rainbows and ballerina twirls.
Little girls are made of sunshine and cupcakes and fresh morning dew,
And these are the reasons, little one, why everyone loves you.
On March 12th, with our close family and friends we found out that God has blessed us with another baby girl! What a miracle! Our baby girl is so healthy and with such a strong heart beat. The sonogram showed her tiny hands and feet. We could see the profile of her face even as early as 19 weeks. She will change ever so much more before she is born, but it was really something to see her at this stage. God is so wonderful to give us the ability to create little human beings.
Kaitlyn’s wish came true as she has asked for a baby sister from day one! She calls the baby “her” baby and enjoys watching mommy’s tummy grow. There will be some adjusting for KK, but we are confident that Kaitlyn will be just fine with her baby sister when she arrives. While we were looking at the sonogram, Kaitlyn turned her head and we encouraged her to look at her baby sister. She said, "No, scary" and "that's grose." She didn't like the way the sonogram looked during the appointment. However, when we got home and she saw the dvd, she was so excited to see her baby sister.
The first time I felt the baby move was on March 7th! There are no words to express feeling the baby move for the very first time. It's quite amazing and makes me very excited to hold and kiss her when she arrives!
Now that we know we're having a girl, Eric and I will continue discuss and pray about the perfect name for our baby girl. One of my personal favorites is Madelyn Capri, but we'll let you know what it'll be once we've decided. In the meantime, Kaitlyn has picked up on the name Madelyn and calls the baby, "Mady" or "Madelman" -- (makes me laugh everytime)
