Things that Kaitlyn Says

Kaitlyn is now 2 1/2 years old and I thought I should write about some of the cute things she is saying so I won't forget them.

  • Princess Cinderella KK ---Kaitlyn loves Cinderella -- everynight when we go to bed I tell her a story about Cinderella and her castle. Kaitlyn chimes in and calls herself Princess Cinderella KK. She talks about her big pink castle and the "lady in the window". The big pink castle is at Disneyland and the "lady in the window" is the Cinderella's step-mother who peers out the window above the ride.
  • Holding Hands: Something that I don't' want to forget is that every night when Kaitlyn lays down to go to bet, she tells me to lay down beside her and holds my hand. She will not go to sleep unless we are holding hands. I don't' want to forget the feeling of her sweet little hand in mine. I know it will grow, but I want to forever remember how soft and small it feels.
  • "Bite tere" -- Daddy loves when Kaitlyn points something out and says "bite tere" instead of right there. For some reason, we have adopted the way she says things so now we all say "bite tere" for "right there" and "oh, nay" for "OK". We know she will learn to say it right, but not sure if we will correct our speech.
  • Loooove Yoouuu -- Kaitlyn draws out the way she says love you. (just a sweet memory we don't want to forget)

When I ask Kaitlyn if she wants to have a baby brother or baby sister. She says "Baby tister" -- we're going to find out the sex of the baby next month -- so we'll be able to prepare for either a brother or a sister.

Well that's all for not and really this particular blog is just to wring down "things KK says" so we won't forget them.

Love,

Mommy
