I just wanted to make a point to thank her for all she is and does for my baby girl, Kaitlyn. Not to forget Grandpa -- He takes care of Kaitlyn every morning (Mon- Thurs) for a couple of hours while Grandma goes and works out. Kaitlyn and Grandpa cuddle together, watch cartoons or play --- and when Grandpa is lucky -- SLEEP!
A few things Kaitlyn is doing now that just melt our hearts:
- She loves to hold dolls, stuffed animals, purses, blankets and will not let them go. (Kaitlyn needs a sibling b/c she doesn't really know how to share yet)
- The other night, she climbed up in my lap, looked up at me and said, "Mommy, I wuv you!" (My heart melted) What a blessing it is to have a little one who can make me so very happy.
- She doesn't really pronounce the letters "T" or "D". So everything is. Do I look Prelly? Are you really (ready)? I'm dirlly (dirty). She is trying and improving, but we just love the baby talk too much to worry about it.

The funniest story is: My mom bought Kaitlyn a little DVD from the 99 cents store called, "Potty Power!" Kaitlyn has been afraid of the potty (small potty we bought her awhile ago) and would not go near it. Well, I put the DVD on. I didn't think Kaitlyn was really watching, but about 10 minutes into it -- she asked me to get her down from her Hi-Chair. (Daddy was making fun of the video as it is very funny). Kaitlyn walked over to her little potty chair and asked me to move it in front of the DVD. I did. She walked behind her chair and grabbed a little book, and ever so slowly sat down on the potty chair. Eric and I didn't let her know we were watching her so she wouldn't become embarrassed. We had to walk around the corner and get our laughs out, because we were so amazed that she was sitting on it. I took some modest pictures, but will not post them. They are so cute. This is a moment we'll never forget and I thought I would just note it down to remember the details.
I love my baby girl and we are having so much fun together. We would love to hear from you and your family and sure hope you are doing well this summer. Feel free to visit our family and church related photo galleries:
